My Cup Runneth Out

Still, they look very pretty although not as pretty as my cup, shining in the sun. Show me a pretty colour and I go all to pieces. What a softie - possibly too soft?

This managment/leadership thing is a wierd game. Especially if you're managing creative folk. Is it like hearding cats or aiming rockets (with no guidance systems installed), or what? Come down on them like a ton of bricks and you get nothing good. There is no faster way to destroy creativity than a big pile of fired clay blocks landing on yer head.

But how the hell to keep 'em going when they don't want to or don't realise they are falling so far short of what they could actually achieve?

Question of the Day: How to challenge a designer.

I'm a designer trying to manage other designers and encourage them to be all they can be. I'm sure as hell getting challenged doing it.
