Mount Townsend

After spending the night in an idiosyncratic hotel in Port Townsend and enjoying some of the delights of the town (a lot of live music) we had a leisurely breakfast during which we bumped into one of Amy's childhood friends. (This is pretty unusual since it's a small town in the middle of nowhere and neither of them live there).

We hiked up Mount Townsend which is a good stretch of the legs (3000 feet from where we parked our car to the summit at ca. 6000 ft).
