8:30 on a quiet Friday evening.

The weeWeir tucked in bed and snoozing and the West Wing (series 2, episode 5) on the TV.

Earlier tonight, Mrs theWeir and I were trying out the recently-arrived 3D glasses that were part of the bundle with the recently-acquired TV.

First ever experience of 3D motion in it's current form, and it was fairly impressive. The supplied 3D film is Megamind, so we opted for the Sorkin-penned wit and drama of WW before an early night.

Friday at work was quietly productive, bike in for new brake pads and a wee check up, then home for dinner, books and bed.

A nice change of pace after a hectic week so far.

It's sometimes that change of pace and perspective that helps you see the depth in what is going on around you.
