Puppet of a String

I am always drawn towards puppets. I remember a few years ago at the Fringe managing to see the Jim Henson and Muppets puppets. Wow that was incredible. This girl had lovely movement with her puppet pal, although I couldn't work out what he was doing with all those balls.

It got me wondering, aren't we a bit like puppets with someone, somewhere always pulling our strings? Who's pulling your strings?
