Birthplace of Thomas Carlyle

I've passed a signpost for this place many a time..

Now I know where it is - opposite the hotel where I was staying.

After I took this shot, I had the best Scottish breakfast ever - nearly made it onto here. The journey home was a decent one (for a change) until I arrived south of Birmingham - then the heavens opened... for the rest of the day!
