Happy World Photography Day!

So today is World Photography Day. A perfect time to blip this little camera that my Father In Law found in one of his garages. As a celebration of Photography today and the roots from which it came!

It's an Ensign Mickey Mouse Camera. CC 1930's! It's a little rusty now because of being stored in a dirty garage but when you see the simple mechanism compared to the highly complex DSLR we use now, you can't help but be amazed by it. Wondering where I can get some film to see if it still works :D

Would have loved to have done this shot again with my portrait lens to get a better dof but M wasn't having any of it and I had no more cornetto's to bargain with!
