Marked for removal!!

An early blip today as I'm heading away from home for the night.

When driving early this morning I saw yet another tree gone or actually a whole row of trees.

Since the huge windstorm a couple of months ago where trees fell everywhere, trees have been suddenly disappearing.

The local paper said they were dangerous but it makes one wonder if it is an excuse to remove some trees that would normally not be allowed to be cut down. There is quite a procedure to get permission to cut down trees.

These were two tall trees that were part of a row in front of the town park. The whole row has gone. They were big trees and had been there for a long, long time.

However I must admit it has cleared and opened the area a great deal.
