Myles and I

Took the morning going round Pembroke Castle with the family - good fun :)

Though Tom kept making me jump by hiding round dark corners! I even jumped when I knew he was there!! *doh*

Went back to the farmhouse, had lunch and chatted with Jim and Liz for a bit, who showed us the recent developments in the conversion of the house. Jim also showed me some rather great pieces of photography kit! Like me, he's got the D7000, though with infinitely more lenses that I!! Talking to him really made me feel like a photography novice... guess I am!! :P

Then went over to see Myles and his dad in some rather obscure woods. His dad's trying to build a house of of wood, straw bails, clay etc. which can be lived in all year round. Looks like pretty hard work, but a great project. Saw the first of the supports go up today :) You can just about see it in the background. Myles' dad is the one on the right, behind Myles. Really great to see Myles and meet his dad. I really am going to miss him next year as he's taking a year abroad in Spain.

I have to mention my bro who got some great AS level results today :) Well done Tom! :D

Also well done to Harriet and Tom R (friends from Sheffield) who have both got into Cambridge uni! :) x
