Gotta look your best

A nice finishing touch is the new program of dressing the street furniture. With all these visitors, Edinburgh really is doing it's level best to be well turned out and look dapper. Actually, you know that's bo***cks as much as I do, but it still remains that little things like this do brighten your day.

Another changeable Edinburgh day, beautiful in the morning through to lunch, then got absolutely soaked in the afternoon - really am appreciating my umbrella investment.

In other news, need to get myself some foreign currency, what has happened to the pound? I know we're not exactly a shining beacon of financial security, but look at everyone else - we've gotta be better off than most of them. Turns out my limited understanding of the currency markets is exactly that...limited. Oh well, if anyone has a good tip just let me know - I'm all ears.
