Ripe gooseberries
Gooseberries are yummy but arduous to clean. I'll need to remove the stems and the pigtails. The pigtails are withered brown flower remnants at he base of the berry. - I found the description on Google. - Sharp scissors are ncessary. I shall freeze gooseberry puree and make some jelly and pies.
