Coleman Quality

I love this little camping lamp. Not that I have been camping for at least 8 years. It gets a lot of use though in my BBQ area, adding an air of autenticity to the rustic feel. I was devastated last week when I discovered that the little hand pump wan no longer sealing. We looked at a new one on the weekend. $200 from BCF, the local camping superstore. It was too much to pay although considering how long they last it would be a small price.

Well today I went to the local specialist camping store just two doors down form where I work and what do you know, not only are the new lamps a lot cheaper, but they also stock spare parts. I bought a replacement pump and fitted it tonight. My lamp is like new for a fraction of the cost of a new one.

Good value.

On the flip side, I have finally caught the cough/cold/flu bug that has been going around work. Truth be known I have done well. Lots of staff are on their third or fourth bout. Me, I am going straight to the doctor in the morning. I feel like sh!t.
