Safari madness

I went to Woburn Safari Park on Saturday for a friends birthday, 11 of us went up in 3 cars and had an amazing day! The weather was gorgeous and despite a 2 hour drive there and back it was totally worth the effort!

It also took 40 minutes to get through the lions bit! (Simba Hills! the tiger area was called Tiger Woods!) as they had just been fed a deer (killed on the local roads apparently) and everyone was taking *so* long to ooh and ahh at their spot by the lions! when it came to our turn the Male and a female decided to move to the other side of the road away from us to go drink from a puddle (I would have been freaking out if they had come next to us!) This lovely old female lion then sauntered across in front of us to join them and out of 80 shots from yesterday this is one of my favourites.
