Red knot

Continuing the red theme for my beloved Liverpool. We enjoyed the best of the weather so far at Martin Mere. History week was in full swing in the Viking Village smoking, battle formations being taught to 3 year olds, runes painted, felt making, wood fettling with dangerous tools and twisting of many a yarn. Agu settled down to make a warrior bracelet. I started to help him, maybe a little too much, when the wool wench pointed out maybe I would like to make my own. Point taken. I'm still sporting it proudly.

Oh, we did see some birds, along with the Asian Otters.
