Fairy

Didn't even see it until I cropped the picture! We always called these floaty seeds "fairies".
Not a bad day today so after I got home from work I decided to do some gardening, including spraying some pernicious oxalis spreading in the lawn (introduced courtesy of no thanks to the National Trust for Scotland as they hitched a ride with a plant I bought). Not half an hour later the heavens opened for a short but wet shower so I think thst was rather a waste of weedkiller!
