Damson in distress!

My first attempt at making jam was a success

My friend bought over a bag of damsons from his tree and this is the outcome.

I have to say it was very easy albeit very messy.
The texture, taste and colour are all fantastic.
The WI would be very impressed. Well I am anyway.
