'On The Bridge'

Pip and Joe were both up at stupid o'clock. We tried to ignore them for a long as possible, but eventually had to get up and be parents.

First day back at school for Pip, not yet nine and already so tall she's up to my shoulder.

Joe had a trial run at nursery (he had a ball) and a lovely breakfast with my friends. It's an annual event. Dump the kids at school, then have a five hour breakfast to celebrate the beginning of the new school year!

My two babies are in the system now. I feel happy with a tinge of 'oh crikey they're not all ours any more', if you know what I mean.
