Ah the M25...

Back home after a lovely, lazy fortnight in beautiful Crete. Although we made it there with no hitches, my usual form returned on the return leg and we spent last night at Heraklion Airport due to a delayed flight. I've backblipped the last two weeks, including what turned out to be my 300th blip, and now I'm off for a snooze.

Actually, while I remember, a quick book review before I go.

Afterwards was really gripping although, annoyingly, I worked out whodunnit about halfway through, which spoilt it a bit.

The Blasphemer was fantastic, very original and clever, 10/10.

I couldn't get into The Battersea Park Road to Paradise and donated it to the hotel book shelf. I also struggled a bit with The Hare With Amber Eyes but I'm going to give it another try.

From the aforementioned hotel book shelf I read Fever of the Bone by Val McDermid, which was brilliant, 10/10. I also borrowed Charlie Burden's biography of Alan Sugar, which was very light reading but actually quite enjoyable. I still don't quite know h0w he managed to become so successful, though (Suralan, that is).

I'm about two thirds of the way through Nothing to Envy - it's grimly compelling and makes for a fascinating read; 10/10 again.

Will catch up soon zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

PS - Please check out this blip and this one
if you get chance :)
