Barbeque
first off, apologies for posting this as a backblip. I completely collapsed last night, wasn't feeling great and pretty tired I guess too.
Anyways yeah, not a lot happened today (yesterday, woke up a bit late just dawdled about for a bit. And then in the afternoon all the transport plans were sort've coming into action, cause i'd been invited to a bbq on the beach. I'd spent the day before trying to sort out how to get there as it was in a fairly awkward place to get to (no trains, limited buses ... we even contemplated cycling) But in the end we managed to get a lift with a friend.
Anyways we eventually got there and realised we didn't really have a clue where to go, so after a few failed phone calls we got through to someone who did vaguely know. And long story short we lost one person who's phone wasn't working, went to one beach. Decided against it so moved to another, and then finally started to do the BBQ.
However it was pretty cold and windy so the barbeque wasn't really lighting, and there were quite a few people there we didn't really know leaving me and a few others slightly out of the circle. It's a shame really because she'd put quite a bit of effort into organising it and buying food, and then people copped out because of the weather. In the end though, we left early because we had to go meet a friend in Middleton anyways and then just ended up not going back to the beach.
Probably for the best really, cause as soon as I got home I just got into bed and had a quick tea, watched half of doctor who and fell to sleep instantly. However I then woke up again at 2ish feeling awful, headache, chest pains, stomach ache, sore throat you name it. This virus or whatever has taken it out of me, trying to decide whether to risk going to the doctor and getting antibiotics or just fighting through it. I swear I always get ill just before we go on holiday?
Anyways aside all the frustration and confusion of tonight (last night) there was a beautifully red sky, It didn't really pick up on this photo though but it's more or less the only photo I took so deal with it ;)
