A day of not much, really not much at all. Sitting, waiting, preparing, school back tomorrow, a lazy day of pre-term, holiday-end calm.

Out in the evening to see the wonderful Kristin Hersh at the Book Festival in the Spiegeltent. A free event full of songs and readings from her book Paradoxical Undressing. Tempted to go to her event proper tonight down at Charlotte Square. Free gig + paid for event = tenner will spent if my maths is correct.

Opening track she played has been featured elsewhere today already, so instead I'm going to link and leave you with the one that's still rattling around my head.
