Holding Court

Thanks, everyone, for all your comments on yesterday's blip. It's a treat to discover such things in nature ~ especially when they're humourous.

Today, I took a long walk to the nearby campus. It was a bit windy and chilly (I needed a sweater) and I found all kinds of activity going on, from what looked like a tennis camp to the high school Science Olympics. I had originally shot this on my early afternoon walk, but the sun was too high and I got beaucoup flare streaks, so with the sun much lower in the sky, I went back to the tennis courts (and luckily, they were open) and re-shot this. I decided at the last moment that I liked it as a high-key photo.
