Water Tower NYC

Our outing this morning was to the Metropolitan Museum. We saw a small Frans Hals exhibition, mainly from their own holdings, and a show of Photography After Dark--both were simply superb.

With a bum shoulder that had recurred I didn't schlep my 5D, so when we returned I took this blip from our apartment, before we drove back to Northampton (no rain, in contrast to the total downpour on Sunday).

After the Met I sneaked over to the International Center of Photography. The ICP is always wonderful, this time with a large show of Elliott Erwitt (and more, just through 28 August).
