Cicada shell
The drizzly rain has brought up toadstools all over my backyard. Today, after a bright, sunshiny day, I thought I'd finally blip one of them. The cicada shell was extra.
More photos:
Cider found a hole a groundhog had made under our fence and spent the afternoon watching it like doggie-tv. Sure enough, after a couple hours, out popped a groundhog. I would have taken a photo but I was too busy trying to separate them before anyone got hurt.
I don't think that groundhog is going to be coming back anytime soon.
My next-door neighbor, Elsie, mid-story and mid-pruning.
My fabulous new neighbors Elsie and Harry, enjoying the evening in the garden telling stories.
