Merit

Tuesday!

Very busy day at work today then off down to Scout HQ for a district team meeting.

Our meeting was pretty productive which was great. We were discussing awards & long service for our adult volunteers. This medal of merit is in our trophy cabinet at HQ with all sorts of old trophies. It was presented to a D.S. Slessor in 1944 for their services to Scouting. I'm curious to know who D.S. Slessor was. Merit Awards are still presented today & pretty much look the same.
