First Publication

My friend Mike is a published author. After many, many years of slog, sweat & tears, he finally got his book published last year and today he was talking about it at the Edinburgh Book Festival.

He and his wife, Fran, popped in for a cuppa on their way back home to Cambridge and he very kindly gave me this signed copy of his book.

It's a horror story aimed for teenagers but I am looking forward to reading it myself. I was very pleased to hear that it has been very successful so far and has been translated into 7 languages! And there is a sequal in the offing too :-)
