Anti Government Protest

Tomorrow is the follow-on protests after July 20, when 18 people were shot dead, when planned marches were prevented, after which riots ensued.
We were there, and we had a scary two days of gunfire and tear gas release.
In fact some of our volunteers, who had booked to come were advised by ourselves and the Embassy it might be better to stay away, which they did.
Two of our volunteers are staying on until the end of the month, but we have sent them to the safety of the lake until things calm down again.
In this most peaceful of countries, feelings are running high over issues of governance, the expulsion of the British High Commissioner, lack of forex and fuel and rising taxes and prices.
We all pray for protests to be peaceful, if they go ahead.
