Across the bay

The view from Arnside Knott this evening across Morecambe Bay towards Fleetwood in the far distance. It's quite a long time since I last blipped the Bay, I've been too busy with the macro lens.

The evening light is starting to be more interesting now than it has been through the Summer. In the low slanting light this evening, the patterns and textures of the mudflats in the Bay were more apparent and the water had a bluish tinge.

It was another windy, cool, overcast day - there seem to have been so many in the last few weeks. But the skies have cleared now, perhaps we'll have a better day tomorrow.
