Changing, Designing, Adapting our Abilities....

At my work, I use computer, calculator, pen, pencils and paper.

I shout a lot too, and sing.

These thingys confuse me somewhat. We don't make these, but they are involved in someway in the product of what we do make.

We have big ones, and we have little ones, and we have a really smart chappie, who makes little ones all by himself, and has been known to cook them in the oven (when we had a proper kitchen).

People phone me up and say

"we need a replacement card",

and I say,

"graphic or compression",

and they say

"I don't know",

and I say,

"well i'm terribly sorry, but there are so many of them, I need specifics, before I can quote you".

And they go away confused and sad and try and work out what it is they need, and I make a mental note to pass them on to someone else the next time they phone.

The only thing I like about this, is that they look like little model villages when you shoot them with a macro!
