Spider with snack

Apologies to any arachnaphobes.....I watched this spider parcel up its prey and move it around the web ready for consumption. I love the patterns on the abdomen and the view of the spinnerets. Looks like the web now needs some running repairs.

My alternative picture for today was a wasp that plagued us in the garden at work while we were eating our lunch. I eventually sacrificed my apple core and it stayed put and wandered all over the apple. At least we then knew where it was.
