I will miss you daddy x

Bad, bad news: My dad is packed and ready to go back to London to help the Metropolitan Police keep the streets of London safe. He's already been away once (last week) for 4 days and I really, really missed him. I was worried about him too because I could see all the pictures on the news showing me what was happening. My dad had to work for 18 hours a day in his PSU kit (the PSU kit is really, really heavy ? it weighs 3.5 stone/50lb!) and he was really tired when he got home. I hate what has happened in London. It is needless. I can't believe that other cities copied this ridiculous behaviour too. It is so sad when you see the total destruction caused by rioters and looters. My dad says that the people are angry with the government, but I wish they would just think that the police officer they are throwing bricks and petrol at is just my dad.

I put one of my oldest teddies with dad's uniform so that he can take it with him this time. I hope that it will make him smile and think of us whilst he is in London. I hope that it will also bring him luck and keep him safe. I'm going to miss him so much. Love you daddy xxxx
