Aunty Muriel's Rose

We popped over to visit my 86 year old Aunty Muriel today who lives in a fab house in a lovely village in the Vale of Glamorgan. She is amazing for her age, you'd never guess she is 86!! She has just bought herself a new car but its taking her a while to get used to it, having trouble getting it out of the garage, bless her!! She's just very anxious because its all different to her old car!! I'm sure she'll get used to it very soon, just wouldn't want to be in the car with her at the mo!!! LOL
She always puts on a fine spread when we go round, she just finished making a whole pile of her welsh cakes when we arrived. She went on to make salmon sandwiches, egg sandwiches and had rhubarb tart and rock cakes too!! Was supposed to have started my diet today!!! Oooopps!
Whilst up in her bathroom, looking out through the window, lots and lots of great and blue tits flying around, feeding on her neighbours feeders. I then spotted a Greater Spotted Woodpecker so ran downstairs to grab my camera. Its not the best of shots but you can make it out!
Her garden is lovely, backing on to open fields and her roses looked and smelt beautiful
