Food

this is a blip you won't see much from me. I mainly don't like pictures of food. However, I really enjoy two foodie journals here: Food Porn and A Chef's Day - so I thought I'd give it a go.
This is spicy & slow cooked bison casserole with polenta and there's some fruit in the background. It was very yummy and there is none left. Having a break from proper cooking this summer has certainly done me good. Just as having a break from everything else has done me good. This week is a wee bit of a marathon though with lots of things sticking their heads over the parapets and shaking short deadlines at me. Hopefully my aim will be good enough to shoot a few of 'em down ;-)

In case anyone is wondering what's up with the Blingspitzis: they are settling into the new school year and don't always have time to blip. I'm sure they'll be back once they've got it all under control again.
