Opportunity Blip

This butterfly came into the house and landed on " The Bastides of the Perigord" which I'm reading in preparation for yet another holiday later in the year. I'm not really boring, just a bit. Anyway it stayed around long enough for me to meet my Blip commitment. I think it is a Red Admiral and for safety I checked and I think I am correct. The book says it resides in warm climate so maybe I am wrong .

KenPetch , three comments in, has corrected me and it is a Small Tortoiseshell butterfly and fairly common in the UK . Thank you.
