this was the weekend for the Take A Seat In The Islands project.
Local business sponsored the benches, and artists got imaginative as to how to paint on this 3 dimensional canvas. It was amazing at the many different ideas and beauty that became these benches.
It was a year long, first time event that will be most certainly a step-off to be continued next year .
Sponsors, guests and artists all gathered for a lovely party and auction to support the local Chamber of Commerce. ..
Other places have had cows, whales, and pigs.. but I believe that our idea has a practicality that will continue to make it and annual success.
