Lively memorials

Very wet this morning and a new path took me into Burnhope village. Was attracted by this colourful graveyard with its tenderly tended graves

I have found now I am approaching my mid sixties I have started taken more interest in such things and was rather horrified to find that except for one dear soul who had died aged 99 and a scattering of children and couples in their seventies the vast majority of people there seemed to have died in their 50s and 60s. Oh dear!
