Yet another bird....

After a brief break for a rather peculiar badger, I've returned to the weekend's theme of waders (dull and slightly more interesting). Jem wasn't feeling too good so I drove her to work in Perth then came home via Invergowrie Bay. Pulled up at Kingoodie, opened the door and a flock of lapwings - one of my favourite birds - flew off. I stalked them without success, only got a half-decent shot of 4 in flight, then went back tot he car and started the engine to go home. One of the lapwings came and landed on the shore quite close, so got this shot - not as sharp as I'd like, but his colours come through well.
