Being a tourist in Reykjavík

We decided to play tourists in Reykjavík today. We walked the main shopping street up and down, went up the big church tower to see the view, had sushi for lunch, window-shopped a lot, walked to the harbour... and more. Had a great time.

Coffee and cake at my best friend's house. We've been girlfriends since we were seven years old. She's got a lovely home, two beautiful girls and a boy and a cute dog (and I forgot to take a picture... argh...)

And now I must go to bed and get some sleep. We've got to be up at 4:00 to drive to Keflavík and then the flight to Copenhagen leaves at 7:45.
Wow - just a few more hours and we're in the air!
