Aix les Bains

On holiday! My mum and I have gone on a mini break to Aix les Bains, a small lakeside spa town near the Alps. It's nice, and the weather is pretty good - I wore shorts! She got the Eurostar to Paris and I met her at Gare du Nord, and then we got the train down to Aix les Bains, arriving about 5pm. Our hotel is nice, if basic, and we had a nice meal of pizza and salad and then a walk by the lake in the evening. Lovely!
