Subject to verification

I was at the breaking of a World Record this morning as contortionist, Kiros Hadgu, a guest performer on the The Lady Boys Of Bangkok show, managed to squeeze himself through the head of a tennis racket three times in a minute(!) A perfectly ordinary racket, bought at a supermarket and (obviously) sans strings. All done in the Big Top on the Meadows. Councillor Steve Cardownie was there too to hold a stop watch and confirm the timings. Fair enough for the show's promoters to publicise their show with something a bit different but was it all a bit showbiz for one of our elected representatives?
Off to see L's opening night tonight in The House of Yes. Looking forward to it - will be great to see how all the weeks of preparation come together on stage.
