Peppery houses

Ok, totally touristy shot, but Espelette is a picture postcard sort of place. Despite the hoards of tourists it is worth a short (not a big place) stop over. The 'Piment d'Espelette' (now AOC, protected designation of origin) hang everywhere and it seems that the Basque navigator of Christophe Columbus brought them back from South America in 1650.
