Cold blackbird in the snow

Poor birds today, wind chill -6, blowing, hailing, sleeting, snowing, and sometimes all at once.

Finches have seed, waxeyes have fat, but I don't know what you could give the blackbirds - best I could do was scrape away the snow off part of the lawn, which they did seem to appreciate, as they were later seen scratching and pecking at it.
