Stairway To Heaven

The Perth Entertainment Centre - at one time the largest purpose built theatre of it's type - is coming down. It was dubiously renowned for it's sound quality for some performances and over the years gradually became run down and dilapidated. It is to be replaced by a sunken railway and transport centre - some over budget cheap structure that will too be lauded as the best in the Southern Hemisphere I am sure.

Nevertheless PEC staged some of the biggest acts in the world. In 1984 Led Zeppelin played there and it seems now it left behind it's Stairway to Heaven, stopped a little short but sill hangin' in there.
