Sunday evening Lake Frederick

It was supposed to thunderstorm so the kinder did not try to hike Old Rag Mountain. I respect their caution. It was sunny and clear until about 5PM when the weather started to change. The thunderstorm arrived a little later but was enough to curtail the paddle to Lake Frederick. I don't mind gettiing wet but I have a sensible respect for the lightning.

I was trapped on a mountaintop in a lightning storm once and that was quite terrifying. I'm glad the kinder were sensible about the weather forecast.
