A sly smoke
Quite amazingly, exactly a year after the Cap'n first set foot on my boat, I was able to take him for his first sail on it. A glorious day for blowing along. I'd actually intended to sail up to Cramond, tie up and have a pint, but by the time I'd showed him over the spacious accommodation and we'd played with the depth sounder, well, plans had to be altered. And there were Caramel Wafers and cups of tea.
Getting into the dinghy I did the silly thing and bloody nearly ended up in the drook. But I'm not telling anyone and he's sworn to secrecy.
