Costa Rica 4170 - 4178

Arrived in Buenos Aires at breakfast time this morning, and thanks to a Club World bed, Bose noise cancelling headphones and a cognac or two before lights out, I managed to sleep for a good 7 hours.

So, with no jet lag, it was time for Dora to explore-a.

The city reminds me of some of Europe's most beautiful - Paris, Barcelona... - there's a strange familiarity here. There seems to be many an historic town house in need of TLC - tastefully restoring these architectural treasures would be well worth it...it's just not cheap sadly...

Exploring the Palermo area of Buenos Aires this afternoon, we came across this interesting old building on Calle Costa Rica.

Palermo certainly has a more creative edge to it - lots of nice boutiques and trendy bars and restaurants.

Requires further investigation me thinks!
