Footsteps

I have lived in York for 11 years. I arrived as a carefree 23 year old and am now a happily married mother of two.

This area (Skeldergate/Bishopthorpe Road) has very much been at the centre of my time here, be it living here, visiting friends or just our main route into town after parking the car.

I can almost see images of past me's walking this route. Different times, different hair cuts and colour, different circles of friends and a multitude of different issues and situations filling my head and my heart.

The physical journey may always be the same, but the personal one is constantly evolving.
