Beer Can Chicken

I had a smashing day today!

N came over and as I hadn't seen him for nearly 3 weeks, it was really great to see him. We headed across to Marine Quest dive centre at Eyemouth so I could drop some cylinders off for a trimix fill. We had lunch at the dive centre cafe and bumped into Cyclops, Mrs Cyclops & H who were also lunching there after having been out diving.

We made it back to NB in time to watch the Annual Raft Race. The lifeboat crew always take part and they came a close second this year.

I decided to try out a recipe tonight that I've been wanting to try for ages - Beer Can Chicken. Basically, you cook a chicken sitting on a half-full can of lager and it's absolutely delicious!
