Pomodoro cuor di bue

This is a heirloom tomato from my grandfather's vegetable garden...its smell and taste are superb, beyond anything I tasted so far in the US....I don't know what it is....it's the soil or weather of Italy that makes them so tasteful? I can't describe it!
