Vintage ploughing match!

Over 100 vintage tractors took part in a ploughing match today. About half a mile from where we live. The idea is to see who can plough with the straightest furrows!

Ros, Chloe and I had a guided tour around the field in a converted muck spreader to see all the different tractors at work!

It was all very serious with judges walking up and down! Lots of rosettes were awarded at the end of the day. The event raised lots of money for Cancer Research.

The weather improved after lunch, and we got the lawn cut in the warm sunshine! Then Chloe enjoyed her swim and run around on the beach.
