Valley of the Tweed

Today's the day ........................ for pinks and purples

Drove up through the borders today. For part of the way we followed the River Tweed from its source in the hills north of Moffat. It was a lovely day with blue sky and white fluffy clouds - and everywhere you looked there were pinks and purples.

Purple from the heather-clad hills, now in full bloom - and pink from the rose bay willow herb .................
