Ah my favourite cafe in the world, The Links Gallery on the sea front at Whitley Bay.

Italian Bristot coffee, genuine Italian pastries, a deconstructed almost Habitat with a Hacienda like interior and local art with an emphasis on retro.

A lack of Costas, Starbucks et al is strange for a surf town but makes The Links even more stand out.
